WorkKeys
and the Career Readiness Certification Program
The WorkKeys test, developed by American College Testing
Inc., is a skill measurement standard for determining
performance in various job skill areas. Adult Education
offers testing and test preparation in the three areas
required by most employers:
Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, Locating
Information
If you are not at the skill level that matches your
employment goals, the Career Readiness Certification
process offers skill enhancement paired to the WorkKeys
system using a combination of classroom instruction and
the WIN software program. Using diagnostic tools within
the system, the instructor will advise participants when
they have reached an appropriate level of preparation
for their WorkKeys target goal.
