We are excited about the happenings in
Adult Education.
We have programs that can enhance your academic and your personal
life. We offer classes that will lead to your
High School Diploma
or
GED.
These classes are designed for adults and those 17 or 18 years of
age and older. We can help you move up the career ladder by having
classes such as
WorkKeys
preparation,
ParaPro
preparation,
Praxis
workshops,
Child Care
classes,
Online
classes, and more. To brush up on your academics , we offer
Skills Upgrade
classes. Our
English as a Second Language
classes will give you the conversational confidence you need.
Our Community Schools programs have something for everyone. We offer a variety of classes from Computer courses to Dance classes.

Our Computer classes have been revamped, and we have ways to save you money. We are offering Workshops designed for high school seniors and their parents. We have Music and Dance, Health and Fitness, Personal Growth, Career Enhancement and ed2go on-line classes for you. Our services include Extended Day Programs for after school care and 21st Century for tutorial and academic programs for middle school students. Poynor has programs in Timmonsville, Johnsonville, at RN Beck Learning Center, Florence County Detention Center, Palmer Pre-Release, Vocational Rehabilitation, the Library, and the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. |
